Helvi Andersson



Helvi Andersson lives and paints in the northern swedish town of Umeå where she has worked as a bartender for 35 years. 30 years ago she had the studied with the artists Astrid Scherner-Tobiasson and Åke Petterson-Nåw and has continued to paint ever since.

Inspirationen comes from her work as a bartender - a job where she meet all kinds of people. She paints in oil on canvas or panel.
