Céleste - paintings


Céleste has been an active artist since 1971. She is a member of KRO and has exhibited in many european countries.

Coming exhibitions
Céleste  was born in Stockholm but moved at age 9 to the island of Hven in the Öresund between Sweden and Denmark. As a teenager she returned to Stockholm and made her living working in a factory, as a maid and as an actress. Céleste came bact to Scania and studied painting with artist Bengt Fahlström.
1989 Céleste inherited her childhood home on Hven and turned it into  Konstnärsgården Marielund  which she today runs with collegue Stig-Owe Jemseby.
